Pune, December 23: The much-awaited Bhimthadi Jatra 2024 has returned to Pune, offering a unique blend of urban and rural cultures. The 18th edition of this annual cultural and agricultural festival is being held at the sprawling Agricultural College Grounds in Shivajinagar. The fair, which runs from 10 AM to 10 PM until December 25, has drawn thousands of visitors from across the country and abroad.

This year’s Bhimthadi Jatra features 31 stalls from 13 states, showcasing an array of traditional handicrafts, eco-friendly products, and rural innovations. States participating in the fair include:

Over 120 types of native trees have been planted, creating an “oxygen bank” and aiding biodiversity conservation. The initiative emphasizes the benefits of nurturing Deorai, such as:
