PM Modi Honored with Kuwait’s Highest Award, ‘The Order of Mubarak Al-Kabeer’
In a historic moment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with Kuwait’s highest civilian honor, ‘The Order of Mubarak Al-Kabeer’, during his two-day official visit to the Gulf nation. This prestigious recognition marks Modi’s 20th international award, highlighting his pivotal role in strengthening the ties between India and Kuwait.
The award ceremony took place at the illustrious Bayan Palace in Kuwait, where Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah presented the accolade to PM Modi. The Order of Mubarak Al-Kabeer, an esteemed order of knighthood, is traditionally bestowed upon heads of state and prominent members of royal families as a gesture of enduring friendship and diplomatic goodwill. Past recipients include global leaders such as Bill Clinton, Prince Charles, and George Bush.

Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Kuwait is the first official visit by an Indian Prime Minister in 43 years, underlining its historical and diplomatic significance.
