Pune’s 'Seva Bhawan Run' Sees Enthusiastic Participation, Spreading Awareness for Kidney Health

Pune: The city witnessed an inspiring event on Sunday as twelve hundred runners participated in the ‘Seva Bhawan Run’, an initiative organized by Seva Bhawan, a patient care project dedicated to raising awareness about kidney health. The event carried the message ‘Run for Kidney Health’, emphasizing the importance of fitness and preventive healthcare.

Ashutosh Patra Wins the 10 km Category

Among the participants, Ashutosh Patra emerged victorious in the 10 km race, completing it in an impressive 40 minutes and 49 seconds. The competition saw remarkable enthusiasm, with both young runners and senior citizens taking part, making it a truly inclusive event.

Race Details and Start Time

The event kicked off early in the morning, with the 10 km race starting at 6:30 AM from the Maharshi Karve Institute. The 5 km race commenced at 7:50 AM from the Maharishi Karve Women’s Education Institute. Additionally, a special ‘Charity Run’ was organized to encourage public participation and promote the cause.

The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Swati Belsare, Chairperson of the ‘Seva Bhawan’ Project Committee, along with Palash Devlankar, Uma Joshi, Sandesh Bhale, and Sarang Bhide, who moderated the proceedings.
